I have worked in the diving industry since 1986, first starting in the civils and the UK government and then progressing onto Offshore Oil & Gas related diving work. During this time I advanced from a basic air diver to a mixed gas diver involved in both inspection and construction work. I then gained my CSWIP 3.4U to become an Inspection engineer. After a number of years gaining experience I progressed up to Subsea QA/QC Rep and then on to Client representative with Shell Europe. My progression/promotion from Air Diver to Client Rep has been purely on merit and work ethic. I would say that I am calm, patient and methodical in my approach to my work, I also work well under pressure. The working relationship/trust I have made with other team members throughout my years in the Oil & Gas industry have always been of great benefit throughout my career.I have extensive experience in Subsea construction, Umbilical/cable lay and inspection both in the diving (air and sat) and Deep sea ROV fields. This includes pipeline (flexible & rigid), jacket, cable, SURF installation & inspection to name a few. With the experienced of ROV structural and lay route surveys, Cable lays/Pull-ins and subsea construction gained within the Oil & Gas industry I am now looking to use this knowledge in the Renewables industry.
