Provided electronic warfare and counter-improvised explosive device (IED) support for 2 U.S. Army Brigades; the Iraq Assistance Group and the 1st Brigade, 4th Infantry Division combat team in Baghdad, Iraq; • Personally responsible for the Counter-IED security of the Theater Combatant Commander, Ground Forces Commander, 16 other General Officers and over 4000 troops in the Baghdad area of responsibility. • Trained over 400 soldiers in the theory, tactics, techniques, procedures, and operation of all electronic countermeasures (ECM) systems in their inventory. • Accounted for equipment valued at $190M, including; personal recovery beacons, ECM systems and others. • Conducted Security Assistance throughout the region by accompanying mobile training teams. Trained several hundred Iraqi soldiers in electronic warfare, communications, insurgent tactics, and joint fires.
