I have worked in the architectural field for over three decades gaining experience on a broad range of projects. I have been involved the construction of luxury houses, home units, high rise apartment complexes, resorts, hotels, industrial and commercial buildings, major and minor renovations, aged care, health care and education all using a variety of construction techniques and materials. My extensive knowledge of construction allows me to work closely with builders, sub-contractors and other consultants to resolve the details of how designs will be constructed. This experience has provided me with a pragmatic and practical approach to design, documentation and project delivery. Over my years of experience I have proven track record of producing well documented projects managing a team, working as a team and exceeding deadlines/goals set by project managers and builders.I have also worked on site in a project architect/project leader role during construction managing projects. Having worked with several well-known architecture and design companies it has been a great experience and it has given me a base for my design and documentation projects. My steady and calm approach to project delivery sees me being able to deliver outcomes on time and to the required standard with a minimum of fuss.I feel that I possess excellent technical and computer skills with advanced knowledge of the popular CAD software platforms, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop. My colleagues often rely upon my knowledge of the BCA and statutory requirements to audit designs for compliance prior to them being issued out to project teams. My excellent written and verbal skills make me an effective communicator when dealing with co-workers, clients, consultants, builders and the public.I have gained hands on project management experience on varied projects coupled with my current study I believe I have got good project management skills to enable me to run and or assist in the successful implementation of any project.
