I founded Carson Organization, Ltd. my own talent agency in New York City after 25 years as a New York talent agent. I had the privilege of representing Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Ian Ziering-"Beverly Hills 90210" and Raven-Symone: who at 3 years old and the charisma she had with Mr. Cosby, extended that series 3 more seasons!I believe that determination and a true belief in yourself and others has been a key to the success I've enjoyed. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton were my mother and father-in laws and helped me understand areas of the entertainment business I could only have learned from them. Persistence, loyalty and above all honesty has made me a prominent part of the entertainment industry and given me the chance to work with some of the finest performers in this country. Guiding another persons career is one I don't take lightly. That's why I believe that no matter what, never give up...or give in..I was married to the beautiful model, Maria Burton. She was instrumental in building the our agency, She also believed in honesty, and kindness. Those two traits separated us from many competitors. Her contribution to our company was immeasurable.What I most enjoyed doing, was to discover a young performer, realize how talented they were, and although no one else saw this talent, I did. I believe that the success I have enjoyed is based upon seeing in others qualities and talents they never knew they had.

I have developed a website, that guides a performer into understanding why they must have talent agent representation. The disc that is available through the website teaches, through written and video segments, how a performer in any media, acquires an agent. This process, without my help, is almost impossible. Simply put, it is near impossible for a performer with out guidance, to be signed by a reparable agent. The disc discusses why they must have a this representation to achieve any real success. This has been developed and based on my own personal experience as a successful, and respected New York talent agent. This profession is one I held and enjoyed for over 25 years working with several of New York's most prestigious agencies, and resulting in founding my own New York Talent Agency, The Carson Organization, Ltd. It is considered to be one of the best in New York.

Director of Talent for Motion Pictures, Television, Theatre and Commercials. Through out my career, clients represented: Meg Ryan, Matthew Broderick, Raven-Symone star of "The Cosby Show", Ian Ziering on Aaron Spelling's "Beverly Hills 90210". Position compressed discovering talent, building their careers, securing director and producer appointments, and negotiating the contracts. Mr. Broderick's contracts included "The Return Of Max Dugan", "War Games" and Neil Simon's Broadway smash series which began with "Brighton Beach Memoirs". He starred in all three of Simon's productions.Mr. Symone's contracts included, at 3 years old, a five year contract on Bill Cosby's phenomenally successful francise "The Cosby Show". Her connection with Mr. Cosby and all of America extended the life of the world famous series another 3 years. She was a prodigy if ever there was one. Insidentally, I represented 10 additional stars of that series. Deon Richmond and Merlan Santana became breakout stars.Merlan Santana glided from starring on "The Cosby Show" to creating the role of Romeo on "The Steve Harvey Show", where he became an international heart throb due to his work and jaw dropping good looks.

In addition to creating a successful talent agency in Manhattan, I brought in exciting individuals to assist me in creating departments in virtually all aspects of the entertainment industry. Surrounding yourself with talented motivated people is truly a key in any business success. Letting them shine is one of the biggest excitements I have ever enjoyed. The South Beach agency worked mainly with the top modeling agencies of this country and Europe. I developed a Film and Television department and placed those we represented on hit television series, and feature films. The excitement here, was the coordinated mixing of our talent and the talent from over seas. The role of talent agency quickly became one of teacher, confidence builder, acting coach and image creator. With each new face, I was put in the position to build the acting part of their already vastly successful modeling career. Where some were naturals, others took constant help. It was somewhat like the old Hollywood factory. Only now I had the help of some of the most sought after professionals around and it was my decisions that resulted in their success or disappointment. The department and agency became hugely successful.
