Steve Howard has broad experience working in the legal arena and now moves into the HR arena. He has filled a variety of roles working for the court system, a large regional law firm, a small solo practitioner firm, and the legal departments of private companies. He also has broad experience supporting not only litigation, but also administrative proceedings and regulatory rulemaking at state agencies and local government, as well as the lawmaking process in the New Mexico Legislature. Steve is a master at figuring out how to get things done, even when confronted with new challenges. Steve transitioned from working for a geothermal power company where (among other things) he oversaw the company’s lease portfolio housing 5 geothermal power plants in 3 different states, to working for Pebble Labs’ Legal Department where he helps keep Pebble’s legal affairs in order by overseeing and maintaining various contracts relating to areas such as economic development, real estate and tenants, assisting with regulatory affairs, and keeping Pebble’s corporate records. Steve has jumped in for Pebble and proven his ability to get any job done no matter how big or small. His 'can-do' attitude has made him the perfect person to handle human resources for Pebble Labs.
