Before I joined Pump Technical Services Ltd I had already lay the groundwork to my knowledge and experience within the pump industry through highly successful sales positions.After being head hunted by the then Managing Director, I joined Pump Technical Services Ltd on the 20th March 1986 as a Sales Engineer/Representative. My given brief was a simple one: improve the fortunes of an ailing company through much increased sales. I think that over the thirty years that have followed I have succeeded in that task. I began to play a key role in transforming Pump Technical Services, which was rewarded by my being made board director on the 19th May 1991. It was at this time when I realised that the company was still nowhere where it should and could be and I resolved to make Pump Technical Services the success it deserved to be by looking at all aspects of the company.This improvement and change was dramatic and Pump Technical Services remains the only dedicated supplier of Jung Pumpen products in the UK; a prestigious position I garnered for the company in one of my first moves as board director.
