Quality Supervisor
Current-Responsible for assuring compliance and implementation of the Quality Management System in accordance with TS-16949, ISO-14001 and customer specific requirements.-Train Q.C. Inspectors, Prod. Operators, CNC Techs in all aspects of precision machining and world class manufacturing.-Train employees, supplier and customer personnel on product specifications and requirements. -Address immediate technical inquiries from suppliers and customers. -Travel to Suppliers and Customers site to address quality concerns and strengthen relationships.-FMEA, CP, PF, VA / VE and PAPP activities.-Define Quality Control processes, procedures and work instructions. -Read, analyzes, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, product specifications, blueprints, and QS/TS, ISO and customer requirements. -Coordinate and analyze process capability studies and make recommendations for process control improvements to lower unit costs, reduce waste, continuously improve quality and productivity.-Prioritize, schedule and delegate work assignments and directly supervise quality personnel to ensure compliance with established quality procedures, instructions and systems across three shifts in a mass production setting.-Diagnose and resolve major product, process and system problems utilizing analytical, project management, quality tools and best practices, (ex. 8D, Six Sigma, SPC, Pareto, etc). -Design, Build and modify CMM fixtures.-Program, maintain and trouble shoot CMM equipment. -Understanding of human factors, motivation and leadership tools.
