I attempt to live my life with one motto; treat others as you want to be treated.I have been fortunate to work in the computer/networking industry my entire life and seen many changes/disruptions over the years....even in my own life. At one point, in 2003 I was laid off and no one was hiring a switch/router expert. This forced me to expand my technical expertise, so I obtained the CWNA and landed my first WIFI gig. I was hired, despite not having an opening in the state I lived in. I was told "this was because you were persistent but not obnoxious. Obtaining the certificate on your own dime showed the type of person and resolve you have...none of our existing SEs even have this certificate."I would encourage everyone to think beyond what you are doing or done in the past...who knows you may really enjoy the twist in your career as I have!At Juniper/Mist, I am a Mist-AI Consulting Engineer Specialist focused on commercial accounts in the South.
