Senior advisor to the Commanding General of US Forces Command, the Army’s largest command responsible for the readiness and care of all CONUS-based US Army active duty and US Army Reserve forces. • Supervise a small staff of Civilian and Military subject matter experts in direct support of the Commanding General, US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM). • Provide independent analysis and assistance in the development of command initiatives related to key issues and challenges directly affecting the command.• Develop concepts, ideas and approaches for senior leader consideration to assure force readiness and affect positive change within emerging DoD fiscal constraints.• Prepare briefings, executive summaries, speeches and other documents necessary for the Commanding General and FORSCOM Senior Leader use when engaging Senior U.S. Defense, Army and Congressional leaders and foreign counterparts.• Oversee the Commanding General's external communication, including testimony, speeches, briefings, articles, and interviews – inclusive of Congressional liaison functions and visits.

Lead an 800+ member senior Army HQ staff responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and oversight of operational and installation-level activities for the largest CONUS-based US Army Corps and Installation comprised of 56,000+ military members and 78,000+ family members. Directly responsible for synchronizing all activities across XVIII Airborne Corps and its subordinate units and more broadly across Fort Bragg, its tenant units and organizations. Managed an operating budget in excess of $921 million.

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Lead the XVIII Abn Corps planning and operations staff of over 200 military and civilian employees as the chief operations officer for XVIII Abn Corps and Fort Bragg, responsible for the day-to-day operations and employment of over 70,000 Soldiers from multiple units, geographically dispersed across the Eastern U.S. Planned, coordinated and synchronized the execution of multiple Corps operational and exercise deployments to include deployments in support of Operation Unified Response in Haiti and Operation New Dawn in Iraq.

Iraq

Lead a 150+ member operations and planning staff as the J35 for US Forces-Iraq, responsible for the final drawdown and withdrawal of US forces and equipment that defined Operation New Dawn. Portfolio included operational and crisis action planning during the final year of US operations in Iraq; operations and engagements associated with counterinsurgency efforts against various Sunni and Shia terrorist organizations; Arab-Kurd engagement activities in Northern Iraq; de-escalation efforts between the Iraqi government, its forces and Iranian MEK elements at Camp Ashraf; trilateral coordination between US, Iraqi and Turkish efforts to reduce tensions associated with named Kurdish terrorist forces in Northern Iraq; and the complete drawdown of US forces in Iraq including the transition of bases, facilities and equipment across Iraq to Iraqi Military and Civilian entities and other US Government agencies.

Fort Sill, Oklahoma

Lead an organization responsible to the Army for the mobilization and training of Army National Guard, US Army Reserve and Joint Forces in preparation for their deployment in support of on-going operations in Iraq and Afghanistan during the height of both conflicts. Trained and prepared multiple Guard, Reserve and Joint formations for deployment to include the 37 Brigade Comabat Team (Ohio), 28 Combat Aviation Brigade (Pennsylvania) and 34 Combat Aviation Brigade (Minnesota).
