Create and execute a plan to generate and aggregate content for the Community area of EllevationEducation.com. Oversee and contribute to the creation of relevant content that will compel educators and administrators to join and follow the Ellevation community including blog posts, podcasts, white papers and success stories, webinars, newsletters and emails, and policy updates.Oversee the aggregation of relevant 3rd party content including inspirational and instructional videos, podcasts, and tips/advice from experts.Lead the development and execution of a cross-functional plan to get partners and prospects to join the Ellevation Community to access content.Develop and maintain partnerships with other leaders in EL education to demonstrate thought leadership and to remain on the leading edge of providing educators expert advice and research-based best practices.

Communicate observations and feedback from our district partners to Ellevation’s Product and Engineering Teams in order to inform future product development efforts.

In this role, I collaborate with Professor Barbara Treacy on the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of materials for HGSE's T-525: Connected Teaching in the Digital Age course. My work centers around helping course participants achieve their highest aspirations as they work through graduate level course materials and projects.

Working in collaboration with teams at the MIT Teaching Systems Lab and the Woodrow Wilson Academy of Teaching and Learning, I assist in the design of of professional development workshops for Master STEM Teachers. The workshops leverage MIT resources and Master Teacher experience to support Woodrow Wilson Academy's mission to transform graduate education for future teachers.

I worked closely with the Teaching and Learning Lab team on projects involving learning design, course development, research and documentation at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

During my time at HarvardX, I assisted in the design of a MOOC on family engagement in education. The course is scheduled to launch in July 2016. My role in the project involved developing and editing content, managing assets, creating assessments, and contributing to the overall design of the course on the edX platform.

In my role as a Spanish Teacher at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, I developed, modeled, and implemented curricula for a variety of courses. I am particularly proud of developing and maintaining a highly successful Advanced Placement program which allows students to access college level Spanish courses during their junior and senior years of high school. Aside from teaching in my content area, my primary area of focus was integrating technology and innovation into our school. I assisted in the roll out and implementation of a 1 to 1 iPad initiative and have continued to provide professional development opportunities to colleagues in Hamilton-Wenham and beyond.

In my role as a Table Leader, I lead a team of eight highly experienced university professors and high school teachers to ensure the accurate scoring of thousands of student samples from the Advanced Placement Spanish Language and Culture Exam. As a Table Leader, I receive specialized training in the scoring process and the management and evaluation of my team members.

I facilitated the Mentoring in Action online module and supported highly skilled teachers in their training toward becoming Mentor Leaders in their districts. As a Master Mentor Evaluator, I provided critical feedback and support to educators enrolled in the course.

I provided mentor training for new mentors, placed new teachers with experienced mentors, and managed mentor - new teacher relationships. Once placements were complete, I managed ongoing training and support to both new teachers and their mentors.

At Classical High School, I began my journey as an educator under difficult circumstances. As a recent college graduate, I took over in the middle of the school year after the former teacher died tragically and unexpectedly. My experience with students during my first year as a teacher solidified my belief that every student deserves quality education and ready access to mentors. As I continued to develop as an educator, I experimented with new strategies and technologies to help my students succeed in an urban environment. By the time I left Classical, I was well known in my district for being an innovative educator who embraced and advocated for a student-centered classroom grounded in the intrinsic value of learning.
