Steve Pardo is a recognized composer/multi-instrumentalist and interactive audio designer for games, a co-founder of audio production house SkewSound, game developer at The Pardo Brothers, Music Manager at ProbablyMonsters, and Audio Director at Authentic Artists. With a background in jazz, and a professional career that began with legendary music-game studio Harmonix Music Systems (Steve led the audio team for games such as Rock Band VR, Dance Central, and Super Beat Sports), Steve brings his professional background in generative audio to his love for rich and inventive soundtracks for games.In addition to his contributions to the world’s most recognizable music gaming titles, Steve has composed the interactive soundtrack for games such as Cypher 007, Gigantic, Signs of the Sojourner, Grim Dawn, Chariot, Fated, Beat Sports, The Magic Circle, and Fantasia: Music Evolved and has scored music for networks such as Netflix, Adult Swim, and IFC.Steve is an active performer and recording artist as the saxophone-playing lead of DOS, and collaborates with his wife Amy Pardo as Tweet Tweet. Steve studied at the University of Miami, FL, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Music and Jazz, and Master’s degree in Studio Jazz Writing.
