I enjoy technical challenges and using advanced technologies to solve them. I have over 20 years’ experience developing .NET applications as a full-stack developer. I have extensive skills in web development utilising a variety of client-side technologies and frameworks, I am currently working with Angular and migrating applications to Blazor. All systems I have developed utilised a SQL Server back-end with business logic in both Transact SQL and in .Net code. I also have experience of mentoring junior developers and have delivered presentations on various aspects of software engineering. I enjoy researching new and emerging technologies and assessing their potential impacts upon the business. Academically I have gained a first class degree in Computing from Bath University and gained ISEB accreditation of my business/systems analysis skills. Outside of work, my key interests are photography and history.
