I have nearly 30 year’s experience within the private and public sector of the IT Industry working both within the US and UK, most recently as a Senior Developer using Swift and Java. The past 15 years, I have worked for a Software Solutions provider in the procurement market. A position which demands extensive knowledge of a variety of technologies and methodologies. I have both knowledge and practical experience in all stages of the development life-cycle using Agile practices from initial concept through system design, development and implementation, to support and on-going maintenance. I am both confident and articulate when presenting technical and non-technical information to all levels of an organisation. I have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to understand a client’s requirements and needs, whilst translating that into a project and business solution. Software development has always been a personal passion of mine. Since the App Store first became available, I have published two Apps to the Apple iOS Store and developed several Android and Ruby/Rails Apps. I am always interested in fresh challenges and experiences, enabling me to work in new and exciting technologies. Creating the perfect work-life balance is both important to me personally and beneficial in my creative productivity. I enjoy working remotely and have done so for over six years.
