Understand and perform safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, equipment lock-out, emergency responses, etc. Troubleshoot process problems and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Perform moderate adjustments and repairs to area equipment as necessary.Uphold superior housekeeping standards throughout the plant and control room areas. Maintain effective communications with operations, maintenance, and management. Complete required documentation including operator logs, maintenance records, safety, and environment reports, etc.

Assist with building inspections to ensure compliance with fire and safety codes. Perform search and rescue operations and evacuations at fire scenes.
