About Steven Collier

I am a commercial real estate finance attorney who represents financial institutions, pension fund advisors and other sophisticated investors. My experience includes both transactional matters and special servicing. For over 30 years, I have negotiated and closed complex mortgage transactions of all types, including portfolio and CMBS mortgages, multistate transactions, agency debt, mezzanine and B notes, construction lending and secured lines of credit. In special servicing, I have experience through 2 real estate downturns in various workouts and enforcements including forbearances, discounted payoffs, loan reinstatements, note sales, servicing disputes, litigation settlements, foreclosures, receiverships, bankruptcy sales, deeds in lieu and REO sales. With the assistance of local counsel, I represent clients nationwide.
