As a retired FDIC Compliance Supervisory Examiner for Michigan and Ohio, I specialized in consumer protection laws and regulations. In my role as a Federal Commissioned Compliance Examiner, I led bank compliance examinations and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Performance Evaluations, serving as the Examiner-In-Charge. Additionally, I was recognized as a subject matter expert in fair lending practices.I retired in 2018 following a high-speed head-on collision that tragically took the life of my four-year-old daughter and left my ex-wife and me with severe injuries.Since retiring I support and belong to several organizations. I am a staunch supporter of organizations that focus on Education, Health, Conflict Resolution, Human Rights, Domestic Violence, Women & Children wellness. Durant Memorial Fund at Wayne State University's Center for Peace and Conflict Studies supports programs such as the Rotary Peace in Streets conference and the Ralph Bunche Summer Institute, which is a conflict resolution program for Metro Detroit high school students.My advice- Cherish your family, enjoy life, preserve & protect the quality of life.
