Supports the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE), the program office charged with verifying businesses who apply for VOSB and SDVOSB status. Advises on a varied range of legal issues at all stages of the verification process to include initial applications, requests for reconsideration, cancellation appeals, and status protests. Supports the Suspension and Debarment Committee. Provides legal review of debarment actions both based in the FAR and pursuant to VA's unique statutory authority. Provides technical assistance on proposed legislation impacting VA procurement issues, with a specific focus on verification issues. Member of the litigation team. Handles bid protests before GAO as well as CDA disputes before the CBCA.
