Dancer: Learning more every day how movement represents our true inner self and enjoying channelling and expressing this through dance. Training in the Tamalpa Process with the intention to become an improvised somatic movement practitioner ( to teach social motion classes to a variety of target groups) and to contribute to improvised performance projects.Essay-filmmaker: Using thoughtful visuals playing with movement, time, shot length, framing and editing to communicate and evoke feeling and emotion with shorts, gallery pieces and - someday - a feature. My work as a filmmaker explores the intersections of art and narrative, personal and universal.Runner: Another expression of movement, propelling the body through space and distance. Not interested in how fast my time is or which race I've done. I'm interested in how it feels to experience the run.Born in the US, but having moved 42 times through four countries, I am a true existential migrant with the critical point-of-view of an outsider. After a 20-year career in senior planning and strategy roles creating and managing growth, I escaped corporate life to explore my creativity in new ways. Following 18 years in the UK (dual UK/US citizen), I have returned to my Northern Californian roots.
