South Sound Military and Communities Partnership was formed to bridge military and civilian communities through innovative and flexible partnerships and performs mutually beneficial work in the South Puget Sound in Washington state. SSMCP is a partnership of more than 50 members: cities, counties, tribes, nonprofits, corporations, organizations, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord.The military housing task force is made up of four sub-committees aimed at developing solutions easing the burden that military families face when it comes to obtaining accessible and affordable housing. Those sub committees are Housing/Financial Education, Legislative Affairs, Zoning/Planning, and Housing Studies. Outside of the day-to-day advisory support to the Chair, I emphasize my efforts in developing outreach and education strategies for the Housing/Financial Education sub-committee. I ultimately work to figure out who we are serving, what we are delivering, and the value our military families can walk away with when it comes to their housing decisions.

I serve as a liaison to company founder, and investors to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals. Plans and monitors the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress. Supervises staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback. Ensures all the operating arms of the business are ready for any shift controlled or persuaded at any given moment.

Planned, coordinated, executed, and reported on various processes and outcomes for the Veteran Services program. I played a vital roll into the adoption of the Boots to Shoes professional mentorship program. Fostered and incubated local private and government relationships resulting resulting in millions of dollars raised and thousands of people helped when they needed it most.

Informed and guided new eligible participants into Veteran Services. Creates & implements outreach projects to support Military community programs. Develops social media content (photography/video/graphics. Maps out event planning/execution performing as a frontline resource for Military participants & their families. Networks with outside agencies to ensure the overall program outreach component supports as the tip of the spear for all who support sustainable careers within the military community.

Supportive team member helping reduce logistical employment and success barriers for enrolled veterans and their families. Direct responsibilities included, but not limited to developing individualized Career and Financial plans for veterans and their family members. Also responsible for assisting these qualified members in accessing all appropriate services available through Goodwill and provide referrals to appropriate social service public agencies. Monitors all phases with enrollees during their process in Operation Good Jobs, with the goal of each veteran and family member obtaining unsubsidized employment. Collects performance data on the individuals served and the program overall to update multiple databases with clients, demographics, and case notes.

Coordinated flight/maintenance operations in all locations and environments globally. Advised on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting aircraft and aerospace special equipment. Utilized technical data to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems. Interpreted and advised on maintenance procedures and policies to repair aircraft and special equipment. Inspected aircraft structures, systems, components, and special equipment. Supervised and performed aircraft and component inspections. Interpreted inspection findings and determines adequacy of corrective actions. Inspected and checked components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation. Inspected and operated powered and nonpowered aerospace ground equipment. Inspected and identified aircraft corrosion for prevention and correction. Reviewed maintenance forms, aircraft records, and reports to ensure complete documentation. - Logged over 10K flying hours on 200+ missions to 38 US States/ 50 global locations. - Coordinated large scale maintenance actions in austere locations consulting with aerospace manufacturing engineers. Obtained special waivers/dispositions when necessary to complete mission goals. - Orchestrated massive logistical missions between Australia & Las Vegas Nevada (Guam serving as the geo pivot point) with four KC-10A areal refueling aircraft. Objective was to escort 26 RAAF F-18E aircraft providing in flight refueling in deliverance of >5M lbs of fuel in <14 days.

During deployments, senior leaders required a minimum set of data elements for briefings and analyses of problem areas. The deployed unit’s specific report format stemmed from mission requirements. Allowing US DOD appointed personnel the capability of purchasing, shipping, and receiving critical assets. ♦ Produced 16 inclusive panoramic reports depicting efforts for deployed units. Highlighted discrepancies and barriers for mission completion. ♦ Discovered opportunities to adopt innovating processes fostering LEAN principals resulting in maximum cost effectiveness & paramount mission deliverable outcomes. ♦ Presented in front of the CENTCOM Commander General Lloyd Austin lll, Secretary of Defense Check Hagel, and the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing Commander Brigadier General Derek France on the maintenance ops tempo/innovation efforts leading to mission success rate.

Handled various functions regarding unit staff and cargo, from planning to control. Common duties included developing mobility plans, updating personnel records, monitoring staff availability, training the unit for exercise/deployment, and compiling data for wing units. Demonstrated acute leadership, evaluation skills, analytical thinking, logistics expertise, and teamwork. ♦ Briefed key DoD executive leadership on issues surrounding personal responsibilities and duties required per military instructions. ♦ Accounted for and maintained $17M of sensitive deployable tools & equipment. ♦ Scheduled training in courses such as weapons proficiency; self- aid buddy care training; nuclear, biological and chemical warfare defense training; and pallet buildup. ♦ Provided assistance to families of deployed soldiers, including coordinating with various agencies for monetary assistance and meeting needs of under age children. ♦ Ensured accuracy of 20k annual operations calculated daily aircraft operations producing daily, monthly, and yearly reports. ♦ Spearheaded project re-aligning deployment cycles which lead to the increase of unit moral, while cutting overall operational costs, and providing a more dependable logistics plan to deployed forces.

Appointed by the commander as the SORTS manager. Status of Resources & Training Systems (SORTS), is a sophisticated reporting tool that captures an organizations capabilities. This information is analyzed constantly and reported to higher headquarters. Reports are analyzed and submitted monthly through the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). ♦ Adjusted reports to reflect all transitioning personnel according to mission requirements. ♦ Utilized resources to determine deployment readiness based on hundreds of possible factors ie permanent change of station, deployment dwell time, injury, and illness. Categorized all unit personnel’s readiness based on their Deployment Availability (DAV) coding.

Ensured unit personnel conducted physical fitness weekly. Monitored/reported unit status on physical fitness evaluation completion in accordance with Air Force policy. ♦ Developed physical fitness regiments for weekly workouts tailored for all levels of fitness levels ensuring goals were challenging but attainable from the least to most fit members conducting training. ♦ Conducted >500 fitness evaluations and journaled results for members mobility readiness based on mission requirements. ♦ Consulted meetings with all personnel who had either failed/at risk of failing physical fitness assessments. Developed plans and referred members to outside agencies to rehabilitate their health and fitness. Modified custom workout routines resulting in improved fitness habits. ♦ Evaluated and reported all individuals on physical medical profiles ensuring personnel had adequate recovery from injury/ illness along with designing plans to further rehabilitate folks back to a fit to fight status within Air Force Fitness Standards. ♦ Designed training syllabus & instructed aspiring fitness trainers to execute weekly physical fitness sessions.
