CurrentSouth Sound Military and Communities Partnership was formed to bridge military and civilian communities through innovative and flexible partnerships and performs mutually beneficial work in the South Puget Sound in Washington state. SSMCP is a partnership of more than 50 members: cities, counties, tribes, nonprofits, corporations, organizations, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord.The military housing task force is made up of four sub-committees aimed at developing solutions easing the burden that military families face when it comes to obtaining accessible and affordable housing.
