Throughout my career, I have been directly responsible for assisting over 3,000 military personnel and their families in finding sustainable careers across a diverse range of industries. SSMCP is a partnership of more than 50 members: cities, counties, tribes, nonprofits, corporations, organizations, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord.The military housing task force is made up of four sub-committees aimed at developing solutions easing the burden that military families face when it comes to obtaining accessible and affordable housing. Those sub committees are Housing/Financial Education, Legislative Affairs, Zoning/Planning, and Housing Studies. Outside of the day-to-day advisory support to the Chair, I emphasize my efforts in developing outreach and education strategies for the Housing/Financial Education sub-committee.
