Senior Director of Leasing with the responsibility to maximize the value of the 8 centers within my portfolio through remerchandising programs and driven economics. I consistently placed in the top group of reps in leasing production, finishing the 2019 year as the #3 deal maker in the company. I exhibited strong inter-department collaboration, an effective canvassing program, and a complete understanding of the deal flow process in an effort to maximize each center’s growth while annually exceeding leasing expectations. Due to my experience in the industry and strong retailer relationships, I was chosen in 2020 to be on a special SWAT team assigned to work through challenging COVID conversations with the company’s top 100 retailers. This assignment required working through complex negotiations that involved some retailers with more than 250 locations as part of a single negotiation.

I led the project team on the leasing and development of The Avenue Webb Gin, a ground up lifestyle center. In partnership with the Construction Manager, we managed a project team of 12 people from the initial construction through the lease out and grand opening. I was also given the responsibility to correct major leasing deficiencies at The Avenue Viera, a center that opened in co-tenancy default caused by a focused, competitive leasing campaign by Simon Properties for their mall in Melbourne, FL. Within one year, we had achieved an occupancy level in excess of 90% and had met all leasing co-tenancy obligations.

Joined Jones Lang LaSalle as a consultant responsible for developing and implementing a multi-million dollar advertising conversion program. I then joined the leasing department to devise programs aimed at turning around strategically challenged centers and preparing them for sale. I became involved with stronger centers with the responsibility to create a unique position for each center within their market, increase NOI, and improve the merchandising mix. I took on management responsibility for the Goldman Sachs Portfolio and a five member leasing team responsible for the repositioning and leasing of their mall properties. As a Leasing Specialist, I was in the top three of the leasing department six of the eight years in this role.
