Litigation Lending was established in 1999 and is one of the pioneers of the litigation funding industry. It has enabled parties with worthy claims but insufficient resources to pursue their claims within Australia and New Zealand. Litigation Lending will consider all claims that are commercial in nature, with a special focus on insolvency claims and class actions.As a Litigation Manager, my role involves:- conducting a rigorous review of applications for litigation funding, taking into account the legal merits of the claim, quantum, recoverability prospects and a risk and profit analysis- preparation of funding proposals and drafting and negotiation of funding agreements- managing funded claims to a resolution

I have been involved in a broad range of corporate and commercial litigation matters with a particular emphasis on matters relating to the Corporations legislation, State and Federal trade practices legislation, negligence and contractual disputes.I have been involved in a number of high profile insolvencies such as the administration and liquidation of Lehman Brothers Australia Limited and have been involved in other class action work including the only litigation in Australia against a global credit ratings agency. I have also advised and acted in relation to a number of other contractual disputes, unit-holder and shareholder disputes and disputes against company directors, administrators and auditors.
