Steven Walker is a Production Manager at Boss Display. Colleagues describe him as "Steven and I worked together both as Mechanical Drafting Engineers, and later as Project Managers, as we were both promoted simultaneously to the role, right at the advent of COVID-19 during the shut downs. We were both introduced to innumerable projects that were negatively affected by the resource and timeline changes of COVID-19, while simultaneously handling structural and operational changes within the organization. In addition to this, our mission was to learn and implement throughout the organization a newly introduced project management system known as Asana. He was integral in determining, developing, and carrying out the best standard operating procedures for Boss Display’s unique custom and agile interdepartmental design and fabrication structure. I was continually impressed by his communicative ability and his emotional intelligence, particularly under pressure. When the pressure was on, he was always a stable, analytical, and collected communicator who garnered confidence in myself and others about the best strategies moving forward. Continually the voice of reason, Walker was someone myself and others relied on time and time again for his unique ideas, leadership ability, easygoing friendly demeanor, and his excellent rational guidance. I would not have had anyone else by my side working together to successfully accomplish what seemed to be an insurmountable undertaking during this difficult and stressful period of the pandemic and organizational transition. It was a genuine joy to work with Walker. I am supremely confident that Steven Walker will be a valuable asset to any team now and in the future, and is one of the most accountable and pleasant people I know both as a freind and professionally.
