Steven is an experienced executive and consultant working across the community sector, government, and corporate finance. Steven leads Blue Bike’s Strategy Transformation capability and is in his seventh year with Blue Bike. On many occasions he has been involved in leading, improving, designing, analysing and developing strategy for complex operations. That includes working with distressed organisations and projects, understanding the drivers of distress and developing turnaround strategy. Steven has led teams that perform a range of complex modelling, analytics and simulation. He has extensive people leadership experience in consulting and general management roles with up to 170 direct and indirect reports and managed a >$100m budget for several years. Over the past decade he has primarily worked across the human and community services sector – particularly disability, aged-care, social services. Steven has had regular Board reporting responsibilities, and chaired governance committees and oversaw risk and compliance functions for large operational businesses. As a consultant he has extensive engagement and project management experience across a breadth of project scales and in a range of industries. Working closely with clients to manage and deliver on complex projects has been a common activity for Steven throughout his career. In recent years he has had an increasing focus on IT Strategy, designing direction for technology, digital and data environments, developing initiative roadmaps, and support clients in major strategic decisions such as new core system product and vendor selection, and supporting clients through implementation projects.
