As an Enablement professional with 20 years experience in the world of ERP software, I value the continuous improvement of people and process.Enabling people is about ensuring they are equipped to be the best in their role. That can be for people inside the organization, or even those outside. It is part teaching, and facilitating discussion. It is part developing curriculum and rolling out of a program. It is part listening and part offering constructive feedback as a mentor and coach. And it is always involves adapting to the business and market requirements ensuring that the programs and the process is continually adding value to the Sales organization.The journey began while obtaining my undergrad in business. During this time of study I also became a Teaching Assistant, involved in training and leading discussions of entry level business topics. The opportunity to master presenting for understanding, and offering constructive feedback was something that stuck with me as a passion to further pursue.My career began with ERP implementations of client server software. I managed the entire implementation from business requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, end user training along with post go live support. I designed solutions and custom prototypes to solve business problems with software. As I learned the business of ERP, I employed one of my greatest strengths which was communication and training, while solving the technical requirements needed to ultimately foster the customers business to grow.When I moved to NetSuite I transitioned my presentation and teaching skills to a Pre-Sales role where I was able to prove the value to organizations evaluating their business solution options. I was regularly a top contributor and highly utilized resource which earned me recognition with multiple President's Club invitations.I then transitioned to a lead role in the Wholesale Distribution vertical with a hybrid role of strategic SC as well as developing relationships both internally and externally to help grow the WD vertical within NetSuite.This ultimately lead me to Enablement. I wanted to expand my horizons outside of a single industry and broaden my exposure to the wider SC community. I wanted to come back to the training roots that I had planted and to share and guide the wider SC community to have opportunities to better serve our customers.Continuing on with Enablement at BlackLine, I am equipping partners to be their best representations of BlackLine that ultimately serves the customer better.
