I love games and I love making games. I have a good amount of experience from multiple disciplines and I'm not afraid of tackling new projects, even if I have little related experience. I've worked with rendering APIs, sound engines, game logic, menu systems, SQL databases and more. I have experience making 2D and 3D games from engines built from scratch as well as from established engines such as Unity 3D. I'm a quick learner and I don't give up until I've figured out the problem at hand. The server interface with an SQL database and automatically deploys our latest game builds to our test bed daily.Challenges: Slot machine game development presents many challenges that other software development does not. For example, as the players money is involved, we have non-volatile memory where we store critical data frequently in case of power outages. This enables us to bring the game back up practically where it was before the power hit. On top of this, we have strict regulations we must adhere to and every game goes through regulation approval (not done by IGT) which includes revision of the source code. It is critical as slot game developers to keep the number of bugs in our games at the minimal as we simple cannot just release a patch, it must go through regulation approval again and it can be costly.
