I attended the Scottish School of Sport Studies at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland where I graduated with a BA in Sports Development. While at University my wife and I co-owned Identi-Teez, printing promotional garments for local businesses, clubs and associations.With management experience in the health, fitness and leisure industry I developed initiatives and programs to improve membership retention within private health and fitness clubs. I’ve also assisted in the creation of events that promoted physical activity and sports as a means of social inclusion in lower-income areas of the West of Scotland.In 2007, upon emigrating to the US I purchased Atlantic Pools, a residential swimming pool service and maintenance company based in Kissimmee, FL. Shortly after, I started CleanFast USA. This company has provided pressure washing and exterior cleaning services to commercial property owners and managers throughout the State of Florida since 2008.I believe that that the growth of CleanFast has stemmed from a truly customer-centric vision where communication, honesty and ownership of responsibilities are intrinsic attributes of the service provided.I have been a speaker at the National Cleaning Expo event in Tampa, FL, and have led a presentation on Commercial Pressure Washing at the Pressure Washing Resource Association Conference in Tennessee. As a co-host of a pressure washing event in Orlando in January 2014, I spoke to attendees on How To Approach Sales to Commercial Property Management. With multiple pressure washing related articles published in the Florida Community Association Journal and eClean Magazine and contributions to Cleaner Times magazine; I have been recruited to consult on various exterior cleaning projects for some of our REIT and third party management customers.
