Terence has a BA Hons (HR & IR) from the University of Port Elizabeth and he participated in a two year HR training program with De Beers at Finsch Mine. Terence joined Accenture as a consultant in November 2006 and forms part of the executive management team focused on developing the Human Capital Management Solutions (HCMS) practice within the Accenture South Africa. Terence has in depth working knowledge of the HR life cycle and how this can be automated, with more than eleven years extensive experience in HR and HR IT related work. He has Solution Architecture experience spaning the entire system development life cycle specifically with SAP HCM/HR, which includes: detailed process modelling and design; system design, build and deployment; post implementation support and the management of all system related tasks. This is based on him having worked in various SAP HCM/HR project roles. A highlight of his career so far was presenting at SAPHILA 2010 on “Talent Integration and HRIT Strategy”. This conference was rated best SAP conference of 2010 worldwide and IT Web rated it as one of the best IT Conferences worldwide.Specialties: Terence has gained extensive SAP HCM and HR-IT experience in many industries, but predominately in the South African Mining industry with large scale global system implementations, and has an understanding of the organisation, culture and operational requirements of this industry.
