Steve is responsible for three distinct business functions that span around the globe. Global IT operations is the team responsible for customer revenue operations and support. Campus IT operations is the team responsible for global support of backoffice systems. Business Systems is the team responsible for CRM, financial reporting and sale/marketing support.Tasked with 4 major IT business strategies: - Relocate applications from internal data center to a "follow the sun" approach for maximum customer performance and satisfaction. Redeployed applications to Shanghi, London and San Jose data centers with application load balancing. - Implement global managed IP network. Network environments between Australian, European and US based teams limited, and created significant workflow bottlenecks for development, customer service and sales teams. Unified the network topology while simultaneously reduced network costs. - Transitioned to Salesforce.com. Eliminating the internal legacy finance & sales management system allowing truly global sales team engagement, opportunity tracking and financial reporting to leadership. - Implemented global VoIP. Dial by extension to global peers throughout the organization eliminated massive spend in international long distance charges, payback on this transition was measured in months.
