About Steven Schell

I have extensive experience in design and developing electrical and RF products and successfully transitioning them to production.I have worked in the RF field developing highly integrated microwave and millimeter-wave products and have lead design and development for both the defense sector as well as for the consumer electronics market. I have been an integral partner in a successful start-up and have experience in both small and large companies. Maintaining my startup attitude, I have the energy and determination to direct my attention to new projects.I have been in RF product design and development for many years, specifically hardware development and the transition of hardware to production. Most recently I have developed low cost, high efficiency RF front end modules that include power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, filters and RF switches for the WLAN 802.11abgn/ac markets as well as Bluetooth and Zigbee 802.15.4 and directed a diverse multidiscipline team to produce the same.My specialties include linear HBT power amplifier development, GaAs HBT transistor optimization, for high efficiency, high power operation at 2.4 and 6 GHz, , SOI switch development and process development and RF application board design.I have designed RF microwave and mm-wave components and subsystems including transmitters and receivers used in RADAR, satellite data links, cellular communication, wireless audio and wifi systems. In addition I have experience with management and team building where I engage with a hands-on approach. I have managed multinational development teams with varied disciplines and levels of expertise and I have worked with a variety of customers from the military, to commercial cell phone providers
