I specialise in building global partnerships, large-scale transnational education projects and leading high performing professional and academic teams. I combine over 30 years experience in academic and commercial leadership, international HE and financial risk management.

Developing transnational education, recruitment and research partnerships with global institutions. I was strategic lead for Global Partnerships, overseeing all aspects of transnational education partnerships and their interactions across large, complex organisations. Key achievements include:• leading the project board for the University's highly successful joint-institute in China, overseeing its rapid development into a gold-standard large-scale transnational education partnership with over 1500 students.• Initiating and developing sector-leading partnerships with the top institutions in the Philippines.• Sourcing and leading development of a wide-ranging partnership to support a leading Ukranian university through the war.• Building a highly-successful partnerships function, establishing internal structures and processes to achieve rapid and consistent growth in recruitment pipelines.• Representing the University at the highest levels at home and overseas, engaging vice-chancellors, ambassadors and senior government officials and corporate leaders.

To deputise for the Head of Institute and play a key role in leading the School's strategy and leadership. Academic programmes include Foundation, Pre-sessional, In-sessional English, and Short Courses. Professional functions include the Global Partnerships Office, Study Abroad and IELTS testing.

I transformed a cross-institutional academic English programme to significantly improve the academic outcomes of home and international students. Key achievements include:• Transforming the content and branding of the programme, more than tripling the enrolments to reach over 2000 students per year through School partnerships.• Developing a highly-successful online course in partnership with FutureLearn, reaching over 1 million participants to date and adopted by schools to support underprivileged children.• Winning two awards for collaborative excellence.• Building a sustainable and highly-successful programme team.
