With 30+ years of frontline experience in manufacturing, operations, logistics and supply chain management, I decided to work for myself using my background as an Operations Executive and my honesty, integrity and experience to build a business with our family owned Toy Store in the Shoppes at Wyomissing.In partnership with my wife, my daughter and her husband, we operated this enterprise with the vision that toys should encourage creativity and learning, foster developmental growth, and, of course, be fun. I maintained all financial records, payables, minimal receivables, deposits, expenses and in conjunction with our CPA, all financial statements and profit and loss records. We were an integral part of the Wyomissing and Reading communities, giving back through fundraising and other charitable programs. Unfortunately, due to declining retail sales, probably due to the growth of on-line ordering we decided to close our business in December of 2017. Now I am consulting and helping out in various capacities on a part time basis.
