I was the V.P. of Information Technology for a Cloud services company that facilitated electronic invoicing between suppliers and their customers. The company went to market focused on the U.S. HealthCare industry and expanded into the higher education market. I was responsible for designing the technical solution, building the development and support teams, and executing hundreds of connections to the service. I learned how to adapt to rapidly changing requirements, budgets, and drivers associated with a startup.

Stewart was involved in the creation of the Canadian EI Practice in the fall of 2000 and further assisted in business development efforts to grow the practice to 40+ people. Stewart’s customer focused project work at IBM included: Enterprise Integration Assessment and Strategy work for multiple customers, including a major Canadian Airline; Canadian Telecommunications companies; Electronics Manufacturing companies; Healthcare Service providers; and an east coast Oil and Petroleum Company.Stewart’s strategy work often led to follow-on solution development engagements to implement the strategic roadmap initiativesA Business and Technology Transformation project at one of Canada’s largest financial institutions.Integration Solution Architecture, Design and Implementation projects for an Aerospace and Defense aircraft manufacturer; several projects for a Major Canadian Airline; an Electronic Component Manufacturer; Canadian Provincial and Federal Government agencies; a Federal Agency in the United Kingdom; a Canadian Telecommunications company; and, the Ontario’s Smartmeter initiative.Steady State Application Service Delivery Management in a shared IBM hosting environment.
