Stout Ideas is my personal freelance business. For how ever long the date above states is how long I've been creating for a variety of clientele. I specialize in helping businesses and also working alongside agencies and creative groups to develop identities, support collateral, retail and packaging, digital, and UX. This entrepreneurial experience has taught me valuable lessons in project and financial management, while also providing some pretty sweet creative opportunities.

I aid the team at birdsong gregory on a daily basis with design and art direction on projects that revolve around bringing products and ideas to market. Insightful, dynamic and strategic planning go into every client that comes through these doors. I help their products excel in an ever-changing shopper marketing arena by seeking-out key differentiators to help elevate their brand and shelf presence.

As senior designer I led the creative team in generating captivating, user-friendly, responsive designs for an array of clientele. I worked hand-in-hand with exceptionally talented developers to deliver a refined balance of functional and well-designed websites. In addition to my digital design role I also led our team in the creation of branding, print, packaging and photographic projects.

I assist the creative director with the execution of concepts, produce mechanicals for print designs, design websites, branding, POP, and a slew of other designerly tasks on a daily basis.

At AAA Carolinas I design an array of print materials from the design of Go Magazine, a 1.4 million circulation magazine, to the design of nearly every piece of AAA Carolina branded material. The job has offered many new exciting opportunities and solid experience in designing large-run pieces. I have also helped to shape entire marketing drives and the concepts behind them. I have gained experience working in a large corporate environment, while tackling the challenge of creating artwork for multiple business lines while keeping a principal brand consistent.

At ACI Design I fulfilled the role as a production artist. This position consisted of a variety of tasks, including creating art files, preparing, and printing large scale graphics for trade show displays. I also fabricated and customized designs for exhibit booths. I am familiar with vinyl applications, exhibition hardware and understand how to create a cohesive arrangement for a successful trade show display.
