I am a dedicated and skilled Cloud Security Engineer with extreme focus on continued growth. I have a solid background in networking and infrastructure, with a specialization in security. I am most passionate about networking and cloud security, but I am well versed in many disciplines of IT.I have a strong track record of rapidly resolving longstanding issues with infrastructure and processes, often stepping up to assume architectural duties and contribute to long-term strategy planning. I excel at cross-departmental collaboration and have strong interpersonal skills that have helped me work with other departments on major projects, even when there is hesitation around change or past challenges with interdepartmental relationships. This has led to successful project outcomes and better collaboration among departments (building bridges).I also often take lead in emergency situations and keep calm even when chaos is around me. I have been in multiple downtime situations and have had to think quickly on my feet and implement solutions to quickly bring back up critical services, often without guidance or DR plans (although I've helped write them!)I graduated in January 2023 with a Master's degree in Cybersecurity, while having earned my Bachelor's in IT in 2021 and my A.A.S. in Cybersecurity in 2018. I've picked up quite a few certifications along the way, including Azure Administrator Associate, CEH, CHFI, and Cisco CCNA. When not spending time with my family, I listen to music, read, and experiment in my home lab. I also sometimes teach night classes to give back to those just starting out their IT journeys.
