I managed daily Finance Master Data (internal orders and work breakdown structure) requests received in shared mailbox. I also provided oversight on the monthly automated accrual processes.

I managed and coached a team of accounting analysts who were responsible for tracking monthly general ledger activity on the balance sheet. I also reviewed and posted journal entries monthly, which directly impacted company financial statements.My responsibilities included the preparation and communication of key monthly account reconciliation and journal entry metrics to the business area, financial reporting teams, and senior leadership. In addition, I routinely presented Governance reporting metrics and aggregation analysis insights to the Controllership and Business Services to enable strategic decision making.I was a key project contributor and process owner of the BlackLine Account Reconciliation module, which the company implemented in April 2021. I also collaborated across departments to implement the BlackLine Phase 2 project, refining reconciliation, close, reporting, scoping and metrics procedures.

I led a team of analysts to maintain oversight on the account reconciliation policy for the entire company. This required the establishment and communication of written policy and creation of a full suite of internal procedures to provide guidance and stabilize processes. I developed repoire with analysts within all 25 reconciling teams through the implementation and direct training of Cadency Certification, a SaaS account reconciliation module powered by Trintech, in 2015. We used the application to centralize the location of all reconciliations, establish a single source of truth for balance sheet account balances, and semi-automate the account reconciliation process. The implementation won the 2015 Best Practices and Innovation Award.Additional responsibilities included execution of semi-annual reconciliation scoping, preparation and communication of monthly performance metrics, and direct involvement in the account reconciliation workflow, including preparation, manual journal entry parking, and E2E process improvement.
