The Technology Business Partner role was created to serve as the strategic interface with assigned value streams and functional areas. In my case, as the first significant hire in technology in some time, the intention was to ensure strategic technology development, solution discovery, project management, relationship management and service management. I was immediately tasked with revolutionizing the traditional ERP capabilities, primarily focusing on Pay/Bill functions. While serving in this role, I was able to create a great partnership between the business and technology, as well as pave the way for automation 90+% of the critical weekly functions of payroll and billing.We also performed a critical upgrade to the ERP platform and conducted significant fit-gap sessions to ensure customized capability was considered in the effort. To reduce the dependency in the future, we were also able to reduce the customized footprint by moving to native capability and functionality provided by the application because of the initiative.

Managed multiple teams and lead many initiatives during my time at Kforce. This is a summary of the entire time spent there; projects included the move to DevOps, re-platforming our ATS (twice), revolutionizing time collection capabilities (including client approval automation), transitioning from Informix based ERP to Oracle, from scratch build of mobile applications for candidate acquisition and retainment, and many others.

Full responsibility for the enterprise capability of integrations. Implemented a low-code solution and took over after tenured employees left the organization. Even in the chaos, I thrived, establishing the level of discipline and structure in an area that always has the potential for being the “roadblock”.

Built a variable compensation system for the enterprise to handle our commission and bonus-based compensation. Led in the strategic thinking and solutioning to ensure we were modernizing everywhere and prepared to scale as expected. Helped build “On-boarding 365”, subsequently purchased by Bullhorn.

One of my favorite projects as an independent consultant. Helped construct the middle tier integrations and UI/UX for a complex “drag-and-drop” scheduling system for commercial scheduling that was ahead of the other technology at the time. A version of this product is still in use today.

Built off the shelf software for the utility industry. Team leader on design/development phases, leading a team of resources through successful project completion. Implemented various development and quality disciplines to ensure both customer satisfaction and compliance to federal government reporting needs.

As a consultant at this full-scale consulting business partner with IBM (where I interned for 2 years prior) I specialized in research/development and POC (proof of concept) projects. I completed work/projects with dozens of fortune-100 organizations in my tenure, including IBM, Martin Marietta, Pfizer, 3M, PepsiCo, Boeing, GE, and Fred Meyer.In my time with Martin Marietta, helped build the guidance system for the patriot missile program – which is still in use today.

Provided technical support for IBM's decision support software product family. This was an internship position my last 2+ years of college.
