Currently taking stock and seeking new opportunities following redundancy in April 2013 following 18 years at last employers.

BDM at NPIB, part of the Towergate Insurance Group since December 2012. Sourcing and negotiating with directors/owners of acquisition targets, building relationships and trust. Managing acquisition/merger projects from inception to completion.Sourcing and negotiating strategic relationships with introducers to ensure a steady flow of new business. Manage sustainable relationships for long term value and monitor quaility of leads, delivery of service and customer satisfaction. Responsible for relationships with online lead generation providers. Responsibile for sourcing, booking and organisation of stand space at trade events and county shows. Prior to the current BDM role I was also responsible for the computer systems of NPIB. This included liaising with our head office for Windows based applications, Cheshire Data Systems Ltd (CDL) for our insurance based system and day to day maintainence of the CDL system for approximately 50 users.

I worked in a varity of roles at RIG starting from the bottom and working through the ranks to become a development manager for a home insurance scheme ran in conjuction with General Accident. The role included sourcing and visiting clients to provide property security advice as well as providing on the spot quotations etc. I also had a keen interest and involvement with the CDL computer system.
