Sole responsibility for facilitating both long and short term track access for the operational teams, along with OTM and E/T bookings for the RCDP and CP6 framework in Scotland. It also includes booking most the suitable track access options throughout the project lifecycle, resolving and providing solutions to planning issues and conflicts as well as identifying possession / engineering risks and advising of the mitigation measure to be recorded into the safe work packs.I have delivered a comprehensive set of briefings to all PTS staff in Rail Scotland with the new 019 / PDSW. In addition, I have mentored a new planner from COSS level through to becoming a competent train planner over an 18-month period. I am currently undertaking this process again with the new Story possession planner passing on my knowledge and expertise. Effective development of the track access team ensuring we have the ability to deliver a first-class service internally and for our clients. Coordinate attendance for Network Rail planning meetings, arrange and undertake site visits to fully understand access constraints for challenging projects.I ensure processes are maintained and enhanced with regard to returned safety critical paperwork, auditing is completed at the required level and feedback given to the operational teams. Ensuring all SSOW, line blocks, isolations, haulage, Possession & TSR are booked to correct timescales and that the team attend the relevant T-minus planning meetings.

Managed the set up & running of £4.5m Track lowering scheme covering 11 structures in the Walsall area for the LNW South Electrification Project. Arranging with the local land owner access for 44 weeks and temp access points for RRV’s from the new compound. Writing of the CPP, all WPP WMP & TBS. Booking and managing all worksites, engineering trains and OTM’s through PPS and NROL and attending planning meetings. Attendance and implementation of actions from design and Project review meeting. Proactively promoting the Stobart brand & behaviours across each of these schemes.
