About Stuart Lloyd
I am currently not taking any more clients for tutoring. I do lessons for home educated children in chemistry, physics and futurology on the website Thinkers Meet Up - https://www.thinkersmeetup.com/.As always, I am open to anything to do with gamebooks and interactive fiction and I would love to connect if you are in that field.I am a science tutor who aims to provide the highest quality of education for my clients using a wide range of resources and teaching techniques tailored to the learner.I am a former science teacher with a specialism in chemistry. I have experienced four different schools and at each one I have provided extra curricular activities in addition to classroom teaching.I aim to make sure that my classroom practice is at its best through thorough planning, differentiation, reflective practice and building relationships with students and staff. Specialties: Chemistry teaching at Key Stage 5, chemistry, physics and biology at Key Stage 4, biology, chemistry and physics teaching at Key Stage 3, bespoke lessons on request. Topics for bespoke lessons have included CRISPR, the science of archery and quantum physics.I have written several schemes of work and created several effective resources for science lessons in key stage 3 and chemistry lessons in key stages 4 and 5. I have also written several chapters for key stage 3 science textbooks.I am dedicated to my own CPD. In 2019, I took an A level in physics to expand my subject knowledge and I regularly take online courses to expand my skills and subject knowledge.
