I work with structural engineers, manufacturers and fabricators to harness the SkyCiv Structural Analysis & Design API for automated design. I work in a multi-faceted role across the business, covering custom software development, stakeholder management, core product development, sales and business development, and supporting end users.I lead the development of bespoke software for customers by:- Collaborating closely with customers to determine their requirements and design a solution to their specific engineering problem- Partnering with the customer on pricing and timescales, to deliver a solution that supports their requirements and is commercially viable- Implementing solutions by coding web applications with JavaScript, HTML and jQuery- Working with colleagues to assure quality and engineering rigour- Delivering software solutions to the customer that support them in transforming their engineering workflows and businessI also lead the development of integrations with core SkyCiv products, by:- Developing web applications with JavaScript, HTML & jQuery- Developing backend services with node.js, C#.Net- Developing against partner APIs such as: - Hypar - a generative design web platform - IDEA StatiCa - a steel connection design desktop software
