- Coordinating the Bath Carnival community project and event from conception through to delivery.- Coordinating inclusive carnival arts workshop programme in the community, engaging vulnerable adults, school children, special needs groups and community groups in the arts.- Raising £80,000 to fund the project and final event inc. materials, overheads, road closures, artist commissions, venue hire, event staffing, infrastructure, contractors, production and live entertainment. - Event Manager; leading site build and break down and coordinating the carnival procession, festival and after party on the day. Over 50,000 people attending the festival, procession and after party throughout the day and evening.

Event stylist specialising in bespoke balloon installations, organic floral designs and custom-made décor as well as craft-making workshops. The aim of NightJar Events is to enliven and enrich every event, special occasion and venue we work with, using a range of innovative techniques incorporating, primarily, balloon sculpture and floristry. We have transformed an impressive array of venues; from ornate manor houses to small independent shops, and dowdy office environments to private members clubs. As well as help launch new businesses on Bath’s high street, we have designed the all-important backdrops for official wedding photography and donated hand-made balloon garlands to a variety of local charity events.

Responsibilities include:• Producing all editorial for the Bath Chronicle, Somerset Guardian and Somerset Standard’s Find a Property supplements• Liaise with PR companies, estate agents and online property portals to source six pages of weekly property news for the supplement’s Get Moving Campaign.• Write and design generic features for The Bath Chronicle, Somerset Standard, Somerset Guardian and the four titles of the Mid-Somerset Series.• Work with clients to write and design (using Adobe Indesign) bespoke advertorial features.• Write and co-ordinate the design of niche products including The Visitor Magazine, Coping with Bereavement and Christmas in Bath & Wells publications.• Use Indesign and Tera (inc. Ted and Shell) for production of print products.• Compile and design a fortnightly office newsletter across Bath & Midsomerset.

Achievements and responsibilities include:• Recruiting a pool of writers, commissioning articles and creating style-guides• Subbing copy and sourcing images/videos to be used in Wordpress CMS for publication.• Built extensive contacts base in music PR industry and secured exclusive interviews e.g. Mercury Prize Nominee, Katy B and Green Party MP Caroline Lucas

Provided copy on a range of subjects including culture, sport and fashion. Co-ordinated the magazine's music editorial team and produced copy for larger projects e.g. the magazine’s count down of the top ten black musicians in history for black history month.
