Supervise and manage a distributed international legal team with the aim of ensuring Informatica is able to do business efficiently and without undue risk. First, we help the business grow, providing support to our commercial teams, help with new entities, mergers, acquisitions/disposals, as well as ongoing intellectual property protection. Second, we keep the business and its employees out of trouble, creating/administering policies, contracts etc in areas of risk, especially non-financial risk, such as conflicts of interest, insider trading, bribery, competition law, data privacy. Third, we manage litigation, preventing, defending, initiating and pursuing litigation. Fourth, we partner with other functions which generate legal issues, including contract creation / negotiation, advice, correspondence for sales, LMS, IT, Finance, HR, product teams etc

Manage the International Legal Team with disparate team members in remote locations. Primary raison d'etre is to support the Informatica field sales teams by creating, negotiating and signing software license, partner, distributor and many other agreements (NDAs, Evaluations etc). The primary goal being to preserve Informatica's intellectual property and other rights whilst allowing for sales to be made in a reasonable timeframe and to the satisfaction of Informatica and its customers. In additon the legal team take on all other legal issues arising internationally including data privacy, procurement, pre-litigation, IPR, regulatory compliance, export and import requirements and other matters.

Administration of all aspects of supplier agreements in the Information Services dept, including legal and commercial negotiation. Included exposure and administration of service level agreements, preferred supplier programs, product rollouts and the purchasing process of hardware, software and services.
