I started my time at 4K Systems as a mobile Service engineer. I would visit customer sites to service and maintain forklift trucks and warehouse equipment fleets to the highest of standards. During my time doing this and carrying out my work to such a high standard I built up a great relationship with all customers that I met and worked for. I then very quickly started taking on extra duties including parts ordering, invoicing customers and directly taking the service and breakdown calls and arranging the required actions to fulfill the customers needs. I Started calling in to potential new customers sites and offering our services. This led to me bringing many new customers to 4K systems and getting to the stage where another service engineer was required. Because of my hard work and determination I was given a promotion to Service team leader. I was then in charge of managing my work load and our mobile engineers. I continued to bring in new prospects and customers and almost doubled the original customer base that 4K Systems had when I initially joined. I then interviewed and employed another service engineer to keep up with the added workload and newly added customer base. Due to my continued success I was promoted to Service manager. Apart from the above duties I had the extra responsibility of keeping on top of my engineers workloads and training courses and HSE I conducted quarterly Personal development training meetings. I would complete all warranty repair paperwork and ensure this was conducted accordingly. A big part of the new role was to carry out regular customer meetings and ensure all of the customers needs were being met.My time was split between management and sales and I continued to sell many new and used products and yet again bring further new customers to 4K systems.
