Web site/application development using ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) for a range of clients such as KPMG, Royal Mail and STA. Manage a small team of front-end developers and freelancers (project dependent). Make contributions to the pitch process including writing specs and presenting.Developed Sharepoint (WSS) site collections to allow our internal employee and external client access to shared project mail and document repositories.Put together a range of different microsite types using a couple of different free .NET CMS applications - MPWSK and AxCMS.net (MVC patterns). Also using Wordpress in some cases.Worked on an internal STA website for their marketing department. This was multi-lingual application developed using a n-tier architecture for database modeling, application logic and view entities. It included a bespoke CMS for news, page, comments and media management.

Leader of a team of 4 involved in a long-term project to develop the ITF web platform. This includes 20+ sites and a bespoke, web-based CMS al developed in classic ASP. This was launched in 2004 and continues to allow a global editorial team to keep the sites fully up-to-date.Sites serve up to 1 million page views per day. As a result, they needed to be built with secure, robust and efficient code hosted on a load-balanced server platform. This was achieved via establishing reusable libraries, implementing standards and developing caching mechanisms.Began work on a replacement CMS before leaving. This was a customised version of the open source Umbraco CMS using ASP.NET 2.0 (C#) and Visual Studio 2005.Worked on a live scoring application for Davis and Fed Cup sites. Involves real-time transfer of data from court-side to the web achieved via .NET, XML Web Services and SQL Server.Developed and implemented IPIN, a web-based, tournament management application for tennis players. With 20,000 registered users, it brings in a revenue stream of $1 million per year.

Poke is a creative company focusing on interactive advertising campaigns. It was founded by a group of Oven employees soon after the American parent company went bust..Worked on a variety of web sites and applications. These included the award winning Warholizer application for Tate Modern. Other clients included Orange, Mother, Oxfam, and Ben Sherman.

Oven Digital was a large global web agency. Working as a technical lead involved defining project specifications in order to produce a client proposal. Other responsibilities included ensuring a structure was in place for completing site builds/maintenance and any technical documentation.Principle client was Sky Sports and the first iteration of their web site. Developed the information architecture, content specification and a set of HTML templates for integration with the Vignette content management system.
