Multirole position consisting of running two independent departments. Primary department is FTR global support, managing day to day operations, management of support staff, all P/L aspects, management of outsourced call center, support policy, strategic planning, and tactical operations and maintaining global support relationships with key global channel partners.Secondary department is the FTR Professional Services Group, responsible for all day to day operations. Responsible for all support activities including sales engineering for FTR in the Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and African regions. Also responsible for all FTR Infrastructure systems, including IT/IS for all FTR global operations. Primary tasks were to manage daily support for the region, using a team of 2 engineers. Responsible for all sales engineering, project management of installations and training that were provided to the end customers. Traveled extensively on a global basis performed duties in a wide and diverse range of locations. Developed training manuals and courses on FTR products. Provided testing facilities to FTR’s R&D group to maintain product development in the customer environment. Reported directly to the General Manager of FTR in Perth.

Responsible for the global support department of DCE, including budgetary accountability, maintaining a team of engineers in all areas of support for the DCE product range. Support provided via telephone, e-mail, fax and onsite support on a worldwide basis. Additional responsibilities in project management of large installations of DCE products in worldwide locations.Key Achievements- Development of new support department. Creating of new support program. Increased support turned over from £100K to £2.3 million through direct selling and renewals of support programs.
