The dynamic nature of my role requires agility and resilience to apply many specialist learning skills supported by a broader understanding of commercial awareness and how learning and development supports strategic and organisational objectives. I have Learning and Development responsibilities for eight sites within AEGON, as such, a strong emphasis on relationship building with senior stakeholders and leading by example is necessary in order to succeed. I manage the learning elements of product launch projects; which incorporate a wide range of learning interventions for both staff and Team Managers.I have been heavily involved in major projects for AEGON, encompassing a successful change management programme for the national Sales Division and the development of a new Targeting Operating Model, the work was challenging and required the implementation of existing skills as well as the quick learning of new skills to ensure successful delivery.I pride myself on being in a constant state of development and promoting this within the organisation, sharing ideas, gaining qualifications and observing my peers and external trainers at every opportunity have ensured significant success in my role.
