I have been associated with the banking and financial sector for close to twenty years. I have worked across areas of strategy, business development and products in senior capacities and worked in the functional areas of Treasury,Global Markets, Advisory, Corporate and Business Banking.I also takes interest in the area of academics and has been involved in developing the course curriculum of various management institutes. I have a keen interest in the area of entrepreneurship and have been associated with start ups in the area of technology and finance.On the corporate side the area that looks exciting to me is leading a new business foray in the BFSI space. The second area of interest is to turn around a struggling business. Both assignments require a combination of analytical skills, flexible, adaptive leadership styles and also, the ability to craft and execute strategy, based on sharp insights on how to refashion end-to-end customer journeys. Also, in this new world, the key is to be able to leverage the power of technology to create strong customer value propositions.
