I'm currently working in VGW's payments team with a group of other engineers, product managers, business analysts and data engineers. Payments team is mainly responsible for customer purchases, redemptions, customer identity verifications and few other domains. Major contributions so far:- Implementing a customer identity document verification system that facilitates customers to get their user accounts verified by providing legitimate proofs of identity. This projects' work involved integrating multiple external providers, in-depth technical design sessions, demonstrations, functional & regression testing. This was a multi cycle(of 6 weeks) project that spanned over two years. I was one of the three main developers- Integrated a new service provider to the payments' purchases platform. I worked with four other engineers on this project and greatly enjoyed the opportunities I had in technical designs and knowledge sharing discussions- Implemented a new feature for an existing service provider in the payments' redemptions platform. Similar to other projects this one was also special as it had some interesting technical challenges to overcome- Worked on several data staging projects where we continuously staged payments data from PSQL databases into VGW snowflake data warehouses so that the downstream consumers within the organisation(eg: data engineering team) can make use of that data accordingly- Regularly contributing to discussions with both engineers and product team, by providing my inputs when making technical decisions. Using Miro boards to articulate my ideas to the team has made it easy- Following the company standards of release procedures when deploying new changes and making sure they are well tested locally and as well as in the testing environments before releasing to production environments. Also collaboratively working with quality controlling engineers when regression testing is needed

The service was successfully deployed to the sites in USA and France.

I contributed as one of the key developers of the new version of the “Admin Terminal” ( AT ) named ATV2.
