Starting up from Creative textile mill (Pvt.) ltd-industrial zone, Dankotuwa, from 2015 - 2017 ,Sri lankaas a Trainee Fabric Technologist, I Worked as a linking Fabric tech. of weaving and dying mill. Main responsibility was to maintain the quality of the greige fabrics for a high-quality finish fabric.Referring to the main defects which could occur in the mainly woven fabric have made a guidebook for trainee fabric inspectors. Further measuring the efficiency of looms (air jet dobby/air jet cam) /production and maintaining the capacity. Followed up on bulk fabric samples approvals to garment shipments. Coordinated with mills in China, Korea, Turkey and Mills in Europe to get down fabrics. Arranging POs in the SAP system to make the bulk fabric order, arrange payments to suppliers, check on fabric in-housing under the given deadlines and assure the quality of the fabrics before starting production. completing an year of experience with Timex, Moved to Mealche Designer boutique (Custom making Premium Garments ) at No.24 Wijerama Mawatha , Colombo07, Sri Lanka as a Junior Product Coordinator from 2018 - Up to date.Working as a personal assistant to the head designer at Melache boutique. As the designer is based in UK, meetings get coordinated virtually with the clients in Sri Lanka and worldwide. *Making the setup for each meeting,*sourcing,*Costing,*purchasing,*making costing,*coordinating with clients for meetings and fit-ons,*making weekly schedules of productionsare some of the responsibilities in the current position.
