I am Subhojit Roy a passionate young teacher who loves interacting and teaching students to encourage them for learning and motivating them to come up with new innovative skills and critically thinking skills. Currently i have been assigned the role of Head of the Department for IBDP Economics and Integrated Humanities. I am also a supervisor for EE & CAS. Believing knowledge is wealth and being a life long learner always looking for new things to learn from students, colleagues and every possible source.I also have a certification for category 3 IBDP CAS (Creativity, Activity and Service) and have recently developed an interest in Business Management on which i am gaining knowledge through online certifications.Being an enthusiastic learner and i love to collaborate with my fellow colleague to work. Being a life long learner, learning new skills and taking up challenges have always been a attraction to me.I am having an total experience of 3+ years for teaching economics to the students of various universities in India both in online and offline platform.Other Activities:In my previous schools i have contributed towards the other social activities of the school like JYOTI ( Jamshedpur Youth Organization For Tomorrow’s India) and taking the responsibility as a senior moderator to guide the students towards the social welfare of the society in 2020. I also have organised various career counselling sessions for the students of plus two as well as the senior school student so that they have a clear view of there life and understand there skills and potential to achieve new heights. in 2021 -2023 when i was working with Victorious Kidss Educares i was involved in organising SLC (Student led conferences) and other events in school contributing it towards a successful event. I have always been an active learner throughout my educational journey.Educations:I have completed my education in the field of Economics and have graduated from St. Xavier’s College with a B.A economics (honours) degree. I have my major in Economics (M.A Economics)from Symbiosis College Of Arts and Commerce with a specialisation in the field of econometrics.Hobbies:I love to travel and a big time foodie. Trying to make use of my free time in something productive i love cooking and exploring more on my personal growth.
